PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA

Personal Data Protection Information Text

This KVKK Information text is primarily in accordance with the Law on the Protection of Personal Data No. 6698 ("KVKK");

1- What type of data (siteadi) collects through the website www.golite.com.tr ("Site"), how your collected data is used, and with whom siteadi may share your data,

2- What your rights are regarding the data processed by siteadi and how you can exercise these rights,

3- Explains how you can change your positive or negative preferences regarding receiving commercial electronic communications.

In order to provide better service to you, our Members; to carry out, complete your order processes and to ensure communication with you; to inform you about products, services, campaigns, and promotions; to better understand your shopping preferences, to perform trend analyses and statistical analyses, and to strengthen the security of the Site, and in order to fulfill our legal obligations arising from the relevant legislation, including the Law on Regulating Publications Made on the Internet and Fighting Crimes Committed Through These Publications No. 5651, the Law on Regulation of Electronic Commerce No. 6563, the Turkish Penal Code No. 5237, and the Law on the Protection of Personal Data No. 6698 and the secondary legislation of the relevant laws, we process certain data that directly or indirectly identifies the Member, including but not limited to your name, surname, e-mail address, phone number, gender, date of birth, Turkish ID number, tax ID number, personal interests, billing and delivery addresses; and information approved for sharing through social media accounts if you connect via these channels.

In addition to this data, we also collect and process aggregated statistical data that does not contain personal information, such as Site visit frequency and times, order times and IP address at the time of order, statistics of visited product pages and ordered products, in order to analyze and understand visitor behavior and preferences.

We process and store these personal data, provided that you have explicit consent, or if it is directly related to the establishment or performance of the contract we have with you, or in cases where data processing is mandatory for our legitimate interests without harming your fundamental rights and freedoms, for the purposes and scope specified in this KVKK Information, taking appropriate information security measures.

We use some of the data we collect in our database for periodic campaign studies, for designing special promotional activities for customer profiles, and for customer classification studies to prevent unwanted e-mails, in accordance with relevant legal regulations.

When you use a credit card to pay for a product, you agree to share your credit card number, credit card expiration date, CVV2 code, and similar information with banks. However, credit card and/or debit card information used during order creation is never stored in our systems.

If you request to create a customer record by providing your contact information in our stores, your personal data may be collected verbally during your conversations with store employees. Your personal data collected within the scope of customer registration processes may be used to verify your contact information; with your explicit consent, it may be processed for the purpose of creating personalized campaigns and promotions suitable for your consumer behavior, sending direct commercial electronic messages to you for marketing purposes regarding our products and services, and creating and tracking necessary records in our systems to facilitate your return and exchange processes.

siteadi is free to keep all records of terminated membership accounts provided they are anonymized. When anonymized, data loses its characteristic of identifying a person and is not considered personal data in this sense. The Member cannot claim any rights or compensation related to anonymized records.

We may share your personal data with third parties with whom we cooperate to provide our services (such as companies providing cargo, delivery, call center, database, etc. services) and with government authorities as required by our legal obligations. siteadi may share your personal data regarding your Site visit or membership and traffic information such as your browsing information with public institutions and organizations legally authorized to request this information for your security and for siteadi's fulfillment of its obligations under the law. However, we will not use your personal data for any commercial purpose or share it with third parties, except for the activities mentioned above and in cases required by relevant legislation.

siteadi is obliged to store Member information that it is legally required to keep. However, the Member always reserves the right to be informed about their personal data, to access this data, to request its correction or deletion, and to inquire whether it is being used for its intended purposes.

To the extent that your personal data is processed by siteadi and siteadi processes your data as a data controller, in accordance with Article 11 of the KVKK, by making a written application to the contact address on the contact page or by sending an e-mail to www.siteadi.com using a registered electronic mail (KEP) address, secure electronic signature, mobile signature, or the e-mail address you shared with us during your membership and registered in our systems, regarding your personal data;

1- To learn whether any of your personal data is processed;

2- To request information regarding the processing activities of your personal data;

3- To learn the purposes of processing your personal data;

4- To learn the third parties to whom personal data has been transferred domestically or abroad;

5- To request the correction of personal data if it is incomplete or incorrectly processed;

6- To request the deletion or destruction of personal data if the reasons requiring the processing of personal data disappear or if the Company does not have a legal basis or legitimate interest to process the said data;

7- To request the Company to ensure that third parties authorized by the Company and processing personal data respect your rights within the scope of this section;

8- To object to adverse consequences that may arise from the processing of personal data through automatic systems; and

9- You have the right to demand compensation for damages if you suffer damage due to unlawful processing of your personal data.

You can always update your membership and communication preferences by logging into the system.

siteadi takes necessary measures for the protection of personal data against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, disclosure, alteration, or destruction of this information. It undertakes to keep your personal data confidential, to take all necessary physical, technical, and administrative measures for the provision of confidentiality and security, and to show due diligence. Despite taking the necessary information security measures, in case of damage to personal data or its acquisition by third parties as a result of attacks on the Site and the system, it immediately notifies you and the Personal Data Protection Board and takes the necessary measures.

siteadi may change this KVKK Information at any time. These changes become effective immediately upon the publication of the changed new provisions and/or policies on the Site. In such a change, you, our members, will be duly informed.
